New Product Launches
- Our foundational Briggs & Stratton PowerProtect™ home standby generator lineup launched with our flagship 26kW model—the most powerful air-cooled standby generator on the market. Engineered and assembled in the USA with a commercial-grade Vanguard® engine, it introduced our proprietary NGMax™ technology, delivering up to 13% more power on natural gas than the competition to easily back up heavy, whole-house loads. Featuring the industry's best motor-starting performance (65.5 kVA) and an ultra-short, fuel-saving Eco-Cise™ 16-second weekly test mode, this lineup was approved for flexible installations as close as 18 inches to a home and backed by the industry's most comprehensive standard 7-year warranty.
- We expanded our PowerProtect portfolio with the strategic introduction of 13kW, 18kW, and 22kW models, bringing a full range of adaptable home power sizes designed to fit any residential load requirement to market.
- The Briggs & Stratton SimpliPHI® 6.6 battery launched, redefining industry standards by introducing a revolutionary, scalable energy storage solution engineered to streamline installation workflows. Built around our safer, field-proven lithium ferro phosphate (LFP) chemistry, this compact system features our innovative, self-guiding RapidStak™ connectors—allowing a stack of three batteries (delivering 19.95 kWh) to be assembled wire- and hassle-free in under five minutes. Boasting a robust IP65 weather rating, the outdoor-rated design completely eliminates the need for additional cabinets or restrictive indoor placements, functioning at full operating and discharging capacity in extreme environments down to -20 °C (-4 °F) without requiring expensive warming pads. Offering full closed-loop integration with leading 48V inverters, we validated the system to the industry's toughest safety benchmarks (including UL 9540 Edition 3 and UL 9540A testing) and backed it with a superior battery life guarantee of over 60% capacity after 15 years.
- Introduced EnergyTrak™, a next-generation monitoring platform that unifies backup power visibility into a single mobile dashboard. Designed to succeed the InfoHub™ system, the platform allows users to monitor both Briggs & Stratton PowerProtect™ standby generators and SimpliPHI® battery storage. Equipped with embedded global cellular connectivity, EnergyTrak provides homeowners with real-time system alerts and enables dealers to perform proactive remote diagnostics.
- Launched our new generator line, Briggs & Stratton® PowerProtect+™ generator line, representing our most powerful, capable, and flexible offering to date. Developed using dealer and homeowner feedback, the new lineup features 64 engineering improvements, including an exclusive front-facing exhaust design. This innovation directs heat and fumes away from the home to preserve landscaping, lower site preparation costs, and enable flexible installations in locations previously restricted by traditional models.
