Through our 115+ years of experience, Briggs & Stratton is the world’s largest producer of engines for outdoor power equipment and is a leading designer, manufacturer, and marketer of lithium-ion batteries, standby generators, energy storage systems, lawn and garden, turf care and job site products. In 2021, Briggs & Stratton acquired SimpliPHI Power, a lithium ferro phosphate (LFP) battery chemistry pioneer.
Our Energy Solutions business unit comprises home standby generators and energy storage solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Our PowerProtect™ standby generators, transfer switches, SimpliPHIⓇ, PHI™, and AmpliPHI™ batteries are designed to offer our customers energy independence and peace of mind, even allowing them to go completely off the power grid.
Today, Briggs & Stratton Energy Solutions is headquartered in Wauwatosa, WI, and manufactures generators in Auburn, AL, and batteries in Oxnard, CA. The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) recognizes Briggs & Stratton Energy Solutions as a California manufacturer of battery energy storage systems. All of our solutions are designed and engineered in the USA.
