Finding the model number of your Briggs & Stratton engine or product is as easy as selecting your equipment from the list below. Knowing your model number makes it easy to order parts, download operator's manuals or illustrated parts lists. Not sure what to look for? Here are some quick tips to get you started:
- Model numbers are located on the physical engine and usually contain a combination of letters and numbers
- The numbering system is often segmented into 3 sections: [Model Number] - [Engine Type Number] - [Code Number]
- Your model number will be either 6, 7, 11 or 12 characters in length
- Model numbers are located in different areas on the product - sometimes on the frame, base, or elsewhere. Use our visual guides for reference
- The numbering system is often segmented into 2 sections: [Model Number] - [Revision Number]
- Your model number will be 6 characters in length + the revision number
