PHI™ 3.8 Battery
The PHI 3.8-M™ Battery utilizes safer Lithium Ion chemistry available, Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP). When combined with our integrated high-performance Battery Management System (BMS), accessible 100A DC breaker On/Off switch and overcurrent protection (OCPD), the PHI 3.8-M delivers safer, highly efficient and cost-effective service over the life of residential installations. Compatible with all industry-standard inverter charge controllers, the PHI 3.8-M supports balance-of-system equipment and optimizes any power generation source – solar, wind, grid, generator – with scalable, on-demand energy storage solutions for critical backup.

Safer Lithium Chemistry
Using the LFP battery chemistry helps reduce the potential for thermal runaway and fire propagation in operation. Safety tested to UL9540A standards for thermal runaway and UL1973 certification indicates the PHI 3.8-M is a safer option in residential installations.

Modular in nature, the PHI-3.8-M can be retrofit for additional batteries should your energy needs grow.

Onboard Over-Current Protection
The PHI-3.8-M™ comes with a standard 100A DC over-current on/off switch for safer operation. For quick operation, the switch is accessible from outside of the case.

Industry-Wide Compatibility
Any inverter or charge controller is a potential pair for the PHI-3.8-M™ Batteries as long as the battery bank-to-inverter output sizing adheres to a 2:1 ratio.
