Microgrid – Vacherie Ranch

Our battery storage solution was integrated into a microgrid for a ranch in West Sonoma County, California. Before the installation, the family relied on diesel generators to power its agricultural and recreational operations. In the search for a better solution, it quickly became apparent that trenching lines for a grid connection were cost-prohibitive. Instead, rugged, highly efficient and reliable PHI batteries, combined with solar, now allow the ranch to be powered 24/7 by a sustainable microgrid that has saved the family over half a million dollars. The containerized solution, utilizing 25 of our PHI 3.4kWh batteries and abundant solar generation, made same-day deployment and scalability a reality.
